Quick winning principles
- Strongest hand takes hardest task.
- Conserve trump for your own task tricks.
- Lead low when you want to lose the trick.
- Communication: one card reveal must be permanent signal.
Ideal strategy
- 1
Task assignment: player with most cards in suit X takes task requiring suit X—count dealt cards per suit at start.
- 2
Trump conservation: never trump a trick you can lose—trumps are scarce and needed for your own task.
- 3
Lead signaling: lead your task suit when you want partner to win; lead off-suit when you want to lose.
- 4
Communication optimization: reveal card that permanently signals your task suit or needed suit—never reveal a card you'll play anyway.
- 5
Task ordering: complete easy tasks (low cards) first to free communication; hard tasks (10, A) last when trump is conserved.
- 6
Rocket timing: use rocket only on your own task trick or to save partner's critical task—rocket on random trick wastes win condition.
