Quick winning principles
- Buy gold-producing cards turns 1-3 before expensive champions.
- Champions attack immediately — time them for lethal pressure.
- Focus one faction for consistent ally triggers.
- Heal only when it buys a full extra turn of survival.
Ideal strategy
- 1
Gold curve: aim for 4-5 gold by turn 4 to buy champions on curve. A turn with 2 gold buys nothing useful — prioritize gold cards early.
- 2
Champion timing: champions attack the turn they're played. Hold a champion in hand if opponent has no guard until you can pair with action cards for lethal.
- 3
Faction focus: mixing all five factions dilutes ally bonuses. Pick two complementary factions (e.g., Cleric + Fighter for heal and damage).
- 4
Health race: at 15 health with opponent at 25, you must be the aggressor. Defensive buys lose the race even if they feel safe.
- 5
Guard and stun: opponent champions with guard block your champions. Buy stun or direct damage to clear guards before champion attacks.
- 6
Deck cycling: thin starter cards with scrap abilities. A 10-card deck sees your champion every turn.
