Quick winning principles
- Create empty columns only when a king can move there immediately.
- Flip hidden tableau cards before building long runs on the same pile.
- Move aces to foundations early, but delay 2s and 3s if they block reveals.
- Work from the highest blocked cards downward to maximize new flips.
Ideal strategy
- 1
Empty columns are your most valuable resource. Never fill one with a non-king just to tidy the board — a king in an empty column unlocks entire stacks.
- 2
Prioritize moves that increase face-up card count. A single flip often beats a neat color-alternating build that buries hidden cards.
- 3
Recycle the stock with intent. Track how many passes remain and whether buried cards are still reachable before cycling endlessly.
- 4
Build longest runs on the tableau pile with the most hidden cards beneath, so future kings have somewhere to land without breaking progress.
- 5
When choosing between two legal moves, pick the one that preserves future king slots and keeps red-black flexibility on partial builds.
