Quick winning principles
- Count prizes remaining every turn — plan two-KO turns.
- Never bench more than you can protect from gust.
- Attach energy every turn; acceleration wins races.
- Gust (Boss's Orders) weak targets before they evolve.
Ideal strategy
- 1
Prize math: standard games are 6 prizes. Plan your knockout route — two triple-KO turns beat steady one-prizers when timed with energy acceleration.
- 2
Bench management: five slots fill fast. Basic Pokemon on bench are liabilities if opponent gusts. Evolve or retreat before benching extras.
- 3
Energy acceleration: cards like Arceus VSTAR, Koraidon, or Miraidon define meta speed. Attach from deck, discard, or abilities — never rely on one attach per turn.
- 4
Gust effects: Boss's Orders and Prime Catcher snipe bench Pokemon. Gust before they evolve into threats or set up energy.
- 5
Knockout sequencing: don't KO a one-prize attacker if it lets opponent bring up a two-prize threat for free. Consider passive turns.
- 6
Hand disruption vs setup: Mew, Lugia, and Lost Box reward knowing when to Iono at 1-2 prizes vs when to let them whiff.
