- Lose all of one type = loss.
- Capture highest value piece when possible.
- Tzaar (big) > Tazar (medium) > Tot (small).
- Don't sacrifice tzaar for tot.
Ideal strategy

Piece type balance: never let one type drop to 0; capture opponent's strongest type first.

Capture priority: tzaar capture removes opponent's strongest; tot capture is tempo.

Endgame tzaar preservation: with 2 tzaars, never risk both—one tzaar must survive.

Stack control: pieces on stacks are harder to capture; build stacks defensively.

Forced capture: when capture available, must capture—use to force opponent into bad captures.
