Quick winning principles
- Memorize your one-card combo lines to maximum board.
- Ash Blossom on search effects, not on random draws.
- Extend plays through graveyard effects before committing normal summon.
- Keep a breaker in hand when going second.
Ideal strategy
- 1
Hand trap timing: Ash Blossom stops searches; Infinite Impermanence on key combo starters; Nibiru after 5 summons. Don't waste traps on low-value steps.
- 2
Combo efficiency: every card in the line should advance board or extend. Cut dead draws that only work if you already have two names.
- 3
Graveyard as resource: many archetypes revive from GY. Know what's live after Called by the Grave and banish interaction.
- 4
Going first: aim for omni-negate + disruption + follow-up. Going second: calculate if your board clears theirs plus OTK — if not, play for grind.
- 5
Board wipe recovery: Super Polymerization, Kaijus, and follow-up extenders let you play through Dark Ruler No More.
- 6
Side deck: Droll vs search decks, board breakers vs combo, hand traps vs going second. Don't side out your engine.
