- Go late initiative to act after monsters move into position.
- Infuse elements the round BEFORE you need the bonus.
- Loss card retirement: lose 2 cards max per long rest cycle.
Ideal strategy

Loss card economy: each scenario has a loss budget (~6-8 cards); track per room. Trash attacks that cost 2 loss cards are scenario-loss conditions.

Initiative manipulation: late initiative (80+) lets monsters move into your AoE; early initiative (20-) for kill-before-activation on fragile targets.

Element infusion sequencing: infuse fire/ice round N for power card bonus round N+1—infusing same round wastes the element.

Long rest timing: long rest when 3+ loss cards played and health below 50%; short rest for stamina recovery only.
